Kitchen Times

So as being an newly married woman I wanna take care of my husband. I find myself not wanting to do anything but be home and make our pig stye a home for us. All I do at work is look at recipes and finding yummy stuff to make for us. This past Sunday... the only day that I get to cook for us... I made ham fried rice and made confetti cake for desert. It was very good!! I just wanna be in the dang kitchen and cook all the time. I come home at 11 and tell Ryan I wanna make cookies... who does that. I just wish that I could have more time to be a wife instead of working two jobs!!!

Our Fun Times

So Ryan and I started our two week vacation with Ryan being sick. We were planning on leaving on the Saturday before Christmas but Ryan couldn't and didn't want to move. So we set out on our journey to California (a wonderful 9 hour drive) Sunday morning. Ryan was feeling a little better but not excellent. We finally made it to Kathy & Chucks after lots of traffic, it was crazy. Ryan was still sick that night just trying to take it easy. Monday was a good day as far as him feeling better until later that night I got sick. I was getting really worried cause I didn't want my sickness to last as long as his did since we were to attend the temple to get our endowments done the next day. Well Tuesday I woke up feeling great and was excited to go to the temple. We got our endowments done at the Redlands temple. It was a neat and spiritual experience. Ryan was unfortunately lost a lot of the time but the temple workers were very helpful in making this a good experience for me. After words the Litterer family all went out to eat at a really good Mexican restaurant called El Torreto. It was excellent Mexican food! Christmas was good and fun. Day after Christmas had to go pick up the rents in San Diego and spend a little time with them until Ryan and I had to part from one another since the rule is that the bride and groom can't see each other the night before the wedding. WEDDING DAY!! Started at 4 o'clock in the morning. My hair and make-up were done just so perfectly, I couldn't have asked for anything better... Thanks Sabrina!! Upon arriving to the temple it was just becoming more and more exciting. I was in awe as to how beautiful the temple was and that we finally made it. The Ceremony was great. I loved having Ryan one side of me and my Dad on the other. I think I did more crying during our Endowment session than I did at the ceremony, but bless my Dad's heart he probably did enough crying for the both of us. Love you Daddy!! Picture taking was fun, but I wished that I could have gotten more. Im excited to see how they turned out. The open house was a huge hit and was a lot of fun. The Reception wasn't what I expected, but thats what I get for having it on New Year's Day and in the middle of a Georgia bowl game. But I apprecitated all the effort that went into making it beautiful. Thanks everyone!!! After the reception off to Disney World!! It was alot of fun but it was somewhat packed. We went to every park. I think that our favorite park was the Magic Kingdom. We got to hit every ride we wanted and maybe more than once!! Unfortuantely I got the book about the hidden Mickeys on the last day so I found a few but I wanted more time dang it... maybe next time. After our fun time in Disney, it was time to head on back to reality... not so fun. Ryan and I are loving married life but dont like that we dont get to see as much time together. Ryan wakes up at 7:45 to get ready for school and has school til 11ish. I have work at Chick-fil-a at 11:30 until 2. Ryan and I have work at 3. Ryan has school in the evenings on Wednesdays and Fridays and the others he works until 9ish, and me with my other job sometimes I dont get off until 10, 11, 12... who knows really when. So the weekends are nice, real nice!

Is this weird?

Today has been somewhat an eventful day. First it started out with visiting the lady doctor so that I could get put on some birth control. So yes I am now up and ready to go... That almost doesnt sound right. Then I went to get Ryan so that we could head off to the Distribution Center so that we could get our garments and temple clothes. That was a little overwhelming, but Im a little excited to try out all the different kinds of stuff. I kinda think that is a little weird to say. Who in their right mind would be looking forward to wearing garments. Im sure that will all change when I understand the meaning of the garments. Then we finally picked up Ryan's suit and man does it look good on him! Its very James Bond looking. We wanted to go to the bank but no time was left. So now Im at work ready to go home so that i can start cleaning house, since we are leaving on Friday!!! Let the party begin!

FINALLY

So with only 17 more days until the big day, I finally got to take bridals today. For all yall non-uthans, bridals are just pictures of just the bride in her dress. I love the idea. I think that others should do it too. It was a pretty crazy day. I had an appointment for my hair at 10:00 at the Paul Mitchell School. Only paid 15 bucks for the updo. Ended up looking really nice but it took her almost an hour to get started on actually get started on doing the do, a little crazy! Then i had to run to the mall and pick up my earrings, and had to wait like 10mins for that too. We took the pictures at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We find out that they have all these high schools singing there and so it was filled with alot of people and a little too much Christmas stuff for the pictures. It was just to cold and windy to do them out side so it kinda wasn't a good day. But im really excited to see what we did get.... Pictures coming soon!!!

An Upcoming Adventure

20 more days left!!! Speaking of getting married Ryan and I had our Stake President interview today and man was it a spiritual experience. You know me when something spiritual happens I'm such a cry baby. The Stake President shared some very insightful things with us and I'm glad that
he did. I know that there will be hard times for me and Ryan but I do know that everything will work out like its suppose to, as long as we do what the Lord wants us to do and we have each other working at it together. I'm excited for the adventure that awaits us.

Here I Am

Yes guys here i am into the blogging world. Everyone has been like Allyson you need to get a blog so that we can keep up with you. Ok so here you go guys! As of today I have 26 more days until I am no longer Allyson Cattell, and I am sooo excited. These past 8 months have been a long time for an engagement but its been a fun adventure. Our Thanksgiving was fun but I sure did miss my family at this time. But im sure they are doing just fine without me Haha. This past Friday I had a bridal shower and it didnt really go like how i wanted it to go. I thought that i was gonna have a good amount of people show up but I only had two girls show up. It was a little disappointing. On the bright side this Saturday is a Christmas party for one of my jobs. Im excited like its one of those big shin-digs where you have dinner and they give away prizes and stuff. This is BIG!!
