Nothing Better to Do
Hello long lost family and friends... I know I said I was going to be better about updating my blog, well I sort of have failed since I'm going to do it now. And its mostly because I am sitting here at work with nothing better to do. So let the updates begin... Well Ryan graduated at the end of April and has been looking for a new job. He was working at a party supply store that was good for him while he was in school due to the flexible hours. But since he doesn't need that he wanted to find something so he can get out of that. The job hunt across the country hasn't been working out so well for him. So he decided to look for something a little closer around here just so he can make better money and want to be at his job. Well this past Wednesday he found a job. Its at Myler Disabilty in American Fork. Its a law firm that works with disabled people to help push for social security checks and some other things that doesn't make complete sense to me. They say if you stay at the first position there for like 3 months, you are doing something wrong. So he gets to move up quite a bit. We are super excited for this new development in our life. So it looks like we will be sticking around here for a little bit. Our next thing we are looking for is a new place to live. We both live about 20 mins from our jobs right now and as much as we love being in Orem/Provo we are ready to get out! You would think this would be pretty easy but it isn't. Since we have Buster we can't seem to find something that isn't soooo expensive and will allow pets. So the hunt is on for that. One week from today I will be on a plane heading for Georgia (unfortunately without my husband) to be there for my sister's wedding. I'm excited to be home with my family and share in my sister's special day! I'm also nervous yet excited to be the one that makes her cake! Its gonna b great! Speaking of cakes they haven't been really there since we didn't really know what our situation was gonna be as far as if we were going to move or what... But now that we know I will be putting myself out there again and start making some cakes! Lets see what else is new.... Ah I went to Zion National Park a couple of weeks ago. It was fun... sort of. We get all our stuff set up at our campsite and we head out for our first hike. We were going to the Emerald Pools. It has three different levels, upper, middle, high. I'm not sure if we were heading up to the middle or the high because the were going the same direction at first and then branches off. But I wouldn't know because we didn't get there. Why you ask? Well we were heading up a ways and it was pretty steep, and may I also mention, it was 100 some odd degrees there. Since I have put on some weight it was a little difficult and Ryan totally fine with going my pace. We take a break on some flater land and shade. Once we stop I'm seriously huffing and puffing. I lean against a rock and suck on some water. The next thing I know everything goes dark and I somewhat feel lighter then all the sudden pain. Then I hear Ryan saying Allyson are you ok? And I reply. Yeah it just hurts get me up.. All with my eyes close. There was an Asian group right behind us and some help pick me up and my sunglasses and whatever else had fallen off of me. I sit completly on the ground and finally realize what the heck just happened. I started to cry for a number of reasons. 1- I'm embarressed. 2- Besides some body parts that hurt, my pride was hurt. 3- I seriously didn't think it was real. 4- I'm upset that there are heavier and older people that aren't having as hard as a time I was. 5- I felt bad that I was slowing Ryan down. So I regain some strength and we head back down the way we came. I went to wash the dirt off of some of my scrapes and we took it easy the rest of the day. We will try that again once I am in better shape that is for sure and also when it isn't so dang hot. Good story huh?!?! This is about the most recent fun stuff that is happening in the Litterer's life these days. But I will seriously try to keep up with this much better!

So not cool.. well just a little
During the night, I woke up this morning wondering why is it so flippin' bright outside. And for those who know me I don't sleep very well while its bright. I then recall that Ryan said that it was suppose to snow tomorrow. Well that really happened during the night... Was I happy about this? Absolutely not! Its April! I want springtime. I'm really missing home right now with sunny/rainy weather, not this cold messy snow. So these are pictures that I took on my way to work. The picture that you can tell I'm in the car and on a clear road was on the freeway and if you look toward the middle and like a cm to the right of the left tree (I know sounds a little complicated) its a sign... completly covered. Ridiculous. I'm just praying and hoping the sun will be here to stay real soon. I know Aunt Carol your thinking well you still have more than we have but this is just my complaint ok!! Love ya!!

Update
Ok guys it has been way too long! This may sound weird but I wanted a fresh new look for my blog before I got started. So lets see where we can get started... Well for starters Ryan and I now have a calling. We teach in primary the 8-10 year olds, and alot of the time I want to ring their necks! A few weeks ago we decided to have Ryan go to the doctor. His back would hurt him all the time. The weekend before he left he stayed in bed all day (which is not normal for him he hates the bed) and the pain would hurt to breath. I was just glad that he was leaving in just a few days. I also think that it should be a rule that newlyweds should be apart from one another for more than just 2 days (I'm sure it didnt help that I watched girlie movies)! I'm working at a new position at work. I now answer inbound calls and assign them to the marketers. I like it! Ryan is still goin to school and doing well. Well here is my little update and I'll keep up this time!!

Kitchen Times
So as being an newly married woman I wanna take care of my husband. I find myself not wanting to do anything but be home and make our pig stye a home for us. All I do at work is look at recipes and finding yummy stuff to make for us. This past Sunday... the only day that I get to cook for us... I made ham fried rice and made confetti cake for desert. It was very good!! I just wanna be in the dang kitchen and cook all the time. I come home at 11 and tell Ryan I wanna make cookies... who does that. I just wish that I could have more time to be a wife instead of working two jobs!!!

Our Fun Times
So Ryan and I started our two week vacation with Ryan being sick. We were planning on leaving on the Saturday before Christmas but Ryan couldn't and didn't want to move. So we set out on our journey to California (a wonderful 9 hour drive) Sunday morning. Ryan was feeling a little better but not excellent. We finally made it to Kathy & Chucks after lots of traffic, it was crazy. Ryan was still sick that night just trying to take it easy. Monday was a good day as far as him feeling better until later that night I got sick. I was getting really worried cause I didn't want my sickness to last as long as his did since we were to attend the temple to get our endowments done the next day. Well Tuesday I woke up feeling great and was excited to go to the temple. We got our endowments done at the Redlands temple. It was a neat and spiritual experience. Ryan was unfortunately lost a lot of the time but the temple workers were very helpful in making this a good experience for me. After words the Litterer family all went out to eat at a really good Mexican restaurant called El Torreto. It was excellent Mexican food! Christmas was good and fun. Day after Christmas had to go pick up the rents in San Diego and spend a little time with them until Ryan and I had to part from one another since the rule is that the bride and groom can't see each other the night before the wedding. WEDDING DAY!! Started at 4 o'clock in the morning. My hair and make-up were done just so perfectly, I couldn't have asked for anything better... Thanks Sabrina!! Upon arriving to the temple it was just becoming more and more exciting. I was in awe as to how beautiful the temple was and that we finally made it. The Ceremony was great. I loved having Ryan one side of me and my Dad on the other. I think I did more crying during our Endowment session than I did at the ceremony, but bless my Dad's heart he probably did enough crying for the both of us. Love you Daddy!! Picture taking was fun, but I wished that I could have gotten more. Im excited to see how they turned out. The open house was a huge hit and was a lot of fun. The Reception wasn't what I expected, but thats what I get for having it on New Year's Day and in the middle of a Georgia bowl game. But I apprecitated all the effort that went into making it beautiful. Thanks everyone!!! After the reception off to Disney World!! It was alot of fun but it was somewhat packed. We went to every park. I think that our favorite park was the Magic Kingdom. We got to hit every ride we wanted and maybe more than once!! Unfortuantely I got the book about the hidden Mickeys on the last day so I found a few but I wanted more time dang it... maybe next time. After our fun time in Disney, it was time to head on back to reality... not so fun. Ryan and I are loving married life but dont like that we dont get to see as much time together. Ryan wakes up at 7:45 to get ready for school and has school til 11ish. I have work at Chick-fil-a at 11:30 until 2. Ryan and I have work at 3. Ryan has school in the evenings on Wednesdays and Fridays and the others he works until 9ish, and me with my other job sometimes I dont get off until 10, 11, 12... who knows really when. So the weekends are nice, real nice!
